Graham Taylor - Bowen and Craniosacral Therapist

Graham is based in the Channel Island of Jersey

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and Bowen Technique gentle, yet extremely powerful forms of treatment, now increasingly recognised for improving conditions that have not been resolved by conventional treatment. The Bowen Technique is one of the most versatile and effective therapeutic treatments available today. Its ability to re-align and correct the balance of the body makes it effective for many conditions. Treatment consists of a series of gentle moves on tissue or through light clothing, allowing the body to energise its own resources which stimulates the healing process. it is possible to treat the client from either the sitting or lying positions. A session generally lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour as necessary. It frequently results in a deep sense of relaxation, allowing the body to restore and balance itself".

The treatment, is a series of precise rolling moves, allowing frequent pauses between those moves to give the body time to benefit from each set.

Practitioners treat the body either as a whole or can target a specific issue, as they are able to pinpoint stress build up in muscle groups and then release it

The Bowen Technique
can balance and stimulate - the restorative process begins once the body is relaxed. While Bowen has a sports background, it is used by clients of all ages and with numerous conditions.

Craniosacral therapy uses the light touch of the therapist to encourage the body to gently heal itself. The therapist will focus on the subtle rhythmic motions which reflect the movement of the cerebrospinal fluids around the brain and spine. This motion is so subtle that it is barely measurable. A therapist can use it to facilitate a deep healing process. The treatment is aimed at providing a release of membrane and soft tissue restrictions and to establish a balanced rhythm.

Craniosacral Therapy is profoundly calming. It pervades the whole person, physically, mentally and emotionally. It is soothing comforting and pleasant, creating a sense of ease, calmness and well being.

Both therapies are suitable for all ages, from new-born babies /children to adults , athletes and people in fragile or acutely painful conditions.

Bowen Technique and Craniosacral Therapy are intended to complement, not replace, the relationship you have with your medical practitioner. If you have, or suspect you may have, a health problem please see your doctor. Never disregard medical advice or delay in seeking it because of anything you have read on this website

Graham Taylor has been in practice in Jersey since 2005.
